Presentation:-
Jam, Jelly, Marmalade and Curd Entries - Jam jars, wax discs and cellophane tops only. Plain white plates and colourless glass only, to be used for dairy produce and preserves. Collection may be raised on boxes and paper tablecloth used.

  • 71 - Best collection of Dairy Produce, four sorts, Butter, Sweet Milk, Curds and Sour Milk. (Please specify goats or cows).
  • 72 - Half-pound of Guernsey Butter. (Please specify goats or cows).
  • 73 - Dish of Curds. (Please specify goats or cows).
  • 74 - Half-dozen White Eggs, any variety - Plates provided.
  • 75 - Half-dozen Brown Eggs, any variety - Plates provided.
  • 76 - Half-dozen Tinted Eggs, any variety - Plates provided.
  • 77 - Half-dozen Bantam Eggs - Plates provided.
  • 78 - Half-dozen Duck Eggs - Plates provided.

One egg may be opened by Judges.

  • 79 - One jar of Honey (screw top lids).
  • 80 - One jar of Preserved Fruit, to be tasted.
  • 81 - Three jars of Jam, Jelly, Curd, Marmalade or Mixed (to be tasted).
  • 82 - One jar of jam, any variety, to be tasted.
  • 83 - One jar of Jelly, to be tasted.
  • 84 - One jar Marmalade, to be tasted.
  • 85 - One jar of Curd - lemon, orange or lime.
  • 86 - Collection of Pickles, Chutneys etc. - to be staged by exhibitor. Space allowed: 2ft x 3ft (610mm x 915mm).
  • 87 - Collection of Preserved Fruit, Jams and Jellies - to be staged by exhibitor. Space allowed: 2ft x 3ft (610mm x 915mm).
  • 88 - Dish of Salad.
  • 89 - One Jar of Pickles.
  • 90 - Ketchup or Tomato sauce in a bottle.
  • 91 - One Jar of Chutney.
  • 92 - Any entry not catered for.

 

HOME-MADE WINE, Etc.

Wine should be made by natural fermentation and not fortified.
